TechCrunch is holding a Mini-Meetup throughout Mobile World Congress, on Tuesday Feb. 28. We will hold a "Pitch-Off" of startups at the occasion.

We've selected 9 terrific start-ups to describe to our panel of VCs and TechCrunch editors in One Minute or less why their start-up is amazing. They are completing for a chance to attend our flagship event,

Edith Yeung, 500 Start-ups Prior to 500, Edith ran marketing for Dolphin Browser, a Sequoia-backed company with over 150M installs. She was also an active angel investors focusing on mobile. Edith likewise dealt with many wicked empires such as Siebel, AMS, AT&T Wireless, Autodesk. In her copious extra time, Edith curates a mobile newsletter.

Aurore Belfrage, EQT Ventures Aurore Belfrage directs EQT Ventures' early phase matchmaking platform Together. EQT Ventures is hybrid between a VC and a start-up and purchases technology-driven companies across all markets. Aurore is skilled and slightly obsessive about building tech organisations, either as a cofounder or investor. She's a news addict, ex-scrap dealer, speechwriter & & aubergine enthusiast.
Aurore started her functional profession as a scrap dealership in Stena Metall Group where she was handling director for the Czech and Italian scrap lawns. 2011 she co-founded the international present card startup Wrapp with Skype creator and Linkedin founder as early investors. During 2014-2015 she hosted a no-nonsense road show across the Middle East about the power of entrepreneurship-- "Saluting the Naive and Crazy"

Agus Gomez, Wallapop
Agustin (he chooses "Agus") Gomez Is A Co-Founder & & CEO at Wallapop. Formerly with iSOCO, the Boston Consulting Group, and Accenture, Gomez went to the respected ESADE Company School. Together with the Wallapop group, he is developing a disruptive brand-new kind of mobile P2P marketplace. He strongly thinks that they have a fantastic chance to disrupt the previously owned P2P sector. He was formerly Innovation & & technology director with iSOCO. Prior to that he was an Organisation Expert with the Boston Consulting Group and with Accenture on the Strategic and IT Consulting Group. He has actually also been an Engineer with VisioWave in Switzerland.
