EXO’s previous member, Tao, lost his claim versus SM Entertainment in an effort to nullify his unique contract.On April 28, the Seoul

Central District Court ruled to turn down Tao’s suit against SM Entertainment where he wanted to nullify the contract.Tao’s legal representative has argued that the contract with SM Entertainment

was unjust, but SM Home entertainment refuted those claims by saying,”The original proposed agreement must posture no issue whatsoever because it was on pair with the guidelines proposed by the Fair Trade Commission.”– SM Entertainment The judge made a recommendation for reconciliation in September 2016 but both sides could not reach

a compromise. The 2

sides continued to face each other with various claims concerning the duration of the special agreement, distribution of revenues, as well as claims of discrimination.Tao separated from SM Entertainment with his withdrawal from EXO in April 2015 and began his activities in China. In August of the very same year, he submitted a suit against SM.Shortly after the
