Helena Christensen teaches her nephew, Oliver Sonne, the best ways to be a supermodel

His face was seen all over the walls of Paris as summer season waned. His eyes blue as lakes, a slender, straight nose, golden brown hair cut in a shoulder-length bob, and a disconcertingly androgynous look that is quite in style. Oliver Sonne, simply seventeen, is remarkably photogenic and currently has the makings of a cover-boy. Style Hommes made no error in providing him his first cover, photographed by Inez & & Vinoodh.

Oliver simply happens to be the nephew of Helena Christensen, the beautiful emerald green-eyed Danish appeal, who became legendary as one of the initial super models (along with Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Stephanie Seymour and Christy Turlington). Herb Ritts turned her into an icon when he shot the black-and-white Chris Isaak video Wicked Games, in which she oozes sensuality in the crooner’s arms, her amber skin covered in sand. Her six-foot nephew has fantastic adoration and regard for his aunt’s career. “She’s extraordinary, therefore motivating.”

Now Helena Christensen heads behind the electronic camera, practicing her passion for photography which she gained from the best. For Style Hommes, she shot her nephew Oliver Sonne in the streets of New york city.
