19,500 trainees targeted to attend Tuisyen [email protected] this year

ALOR STAR: The Tuisyen [email protected] presented by the Rural and Regional Advancement Ministry has targeted 19,500 trainees nationwide to take part in the programme to improve the performance of those sitting for the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia evaluations this year.Mara Education

Structure (MEF) chief executive officer, Zakaria Mat Sam said the target was based upon motivating action earlier, besides proving the students’ success in mastering the topics taught.In this regard,

the MEF which has actually been given the duty of performing the programme is dedicated in making sure that each trainee has access to the centers offered to attain impressive results. “Because the tuition program was

introduced in 2016 across the country, a total of 30,335 trainees have gotten involved. Of that number, 12,989 participated in 2016 and the number increased to 17,346 in 2017.”Due to the good action, we aim to increase involvement to 19,500 this year, which will be conducted at 195 tuition centres nationwide so that many students can successfully go into the Mara Junior Science College and to higher education centres,” Zakaria stated in his speech at the launch of Tuisyen Rakyat @ KKLW at the Alor Star parliamentary constituency, here today.Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah inaugurated the program in Kedah today, with more than 1,500 trainees set to attend this year.Zakaria stated to date, the programme had received excellent cooperation from all quarters, including program organizers, specifically the
