‘ Pacific Rim Uprising’ Director Would’Love To See’ Crossover With Godzilla & & King Kong

Pacific Rim King Kong Godzilla Pacific Rim and the upcoming sequel are embeded in a future where people fight the Kaiju utilizing giant mechas understood as Jaegers, making the movie series a perfect candidate to sign up with Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse, which currently consists of the new Godzillaand King Kongmovies. In an interview with Slash Film, Pacific Rim Uprising director Steven S. DeKnight discussed the possibility of seeing a crossover in between the Pacific Rim movies, Godzilla, and King Kong.

DeKnight exposed that while the decision depends on Legendary, he has developed an idea that would allow the Pacific Rim movies to crossover with the Godzilla and Kong movies:

“Just in my own head. I do not want anybody to think that was an official Legendary thing. That was Steve DeKnight the fanboy talking about what he would love to see. I have an idea, a prepare for the 3rd part of this Pacific Rimtrilogy that would open deep space and allow that crossover if Famous wishes to. It’s totally approximately them. As a fanboy, I would like to see it. If they desire to keep it different, I’ll still be paying for my tickets to see Kong, Godzilla, and more Pacific Rim.”
