The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs invites applications for the India Smart Cities Fellowship (2 years with a stipend of Rs. 60K monthly) and the India Smart Cities Internship (6-12 weeks overdue program, open round the year). The information of the programmes are given below.India Smart Cities Fellowship(ISCF) Program The India Smart Cities FellowshipProgram is developed to offer valuable experience to the youth thinking about wise cities specifically, and city renewal sector in basic and will generate originalities, enthusiasm and energy to the difficult but exciting work of executing cutting edge, high-impact services to crucial urban problems.This program will cultivate young leaders, reinforce their understanding of Indian urban sector
and prepare them for higher management roles in future.MoHUA will engage 30 young graduates/post graduates and PhDs in the fields of Urban Planning, Urban Style, Engineering, Information and Technology, Urban Movement, Finance, Social Sector, and Ecological problems as Smart Cities Fellows.They will offer needed support to Workplace of Mission Director, Smart Cities in MoHUA and/or CEOs of picked Smart Cities in regards to analytics, research, documents, independent evaluation, visualization or other related activities including preparation of reports, posters, dossiers, etc.Eligibility Fresh Graduates, Post Graduates with First Department or minimum 60%marks or PhDs from leading institutions/universities. India Smart Cities Internship (ISCI)Program MoHUA will engage students pursuing Under Graduate/Graduate/Post Academic degree as Interns to assist application of Smart City Projects in various States/Cities. The internship will be on unsettled basis for a period of
6 to 12 weeks.They will be provided an Experience Certificate at the end effective conclusion of the program.
ISCIs will be provided direct exposure in the following areas of advancement under Smart Cities Mission including Urban Preparation, Urban Style, Engineering, Details and Innovation, Urban Movement, Finance, Social Sector
, and Environmental issues.The ‘Interns ‘shall be a part
of the Smart Cities Objective, and their function mostly would
remain in application/ reporting/ assessment and tracking/ knowledge management/stakeholder engagement/ media outreach and other similar activities as assigned to them by the Objective Director(SCM).
